EyeGuard — Screen Distance

EyeGuard is a simple tool designed for parents to help protect their children's eyesight. In the digital age, children often hold phones and tablets too close to their eyes, leading to digital eye strain and potential long-term vision issues. EyeGuard runs silently in the background and uses on-device face detection to ensure your child maintains a healthy distance from the screen. HOW IT WORKS • Monitoring: The app uses the front camera to detect the distance between the face and the screen. • Instant Warning: If the phone is held too close, a "Gentle Reminder" or "Strict Block" appears. FEATURES • Two Modes: Choose between a non-intrusive top-bar reminder or a full-screen block. • Customizable Themes: Fun themes like Clouds and Space to make eye safety less scary for kids. • Parental Controls: Configure distance sensitivity and warning durations. • Call Detection: Automatically pauses during phone calls for privacy and technical compatibility. PRIVACY FIRST Your privacy is our priority. EyeGuard performs all face detection locally on your device. No images or videos are ever recorded, saved, or transmitted. No internet connection is required. Help your child develop healthy digital habits today with EyeGuard!
