Knock Rummy, Oh Pshaw, Spades, Hearts, Pitch and Euchre against Grandma.
Pull up a chair at Grandma's kitchen table. Six classic card games, Knock Rummy, Oh Pshaw, Spades, Hearts, Pitch and Euchre, played against Grandma and the family, the way they were taught at home.
You play against the computer: Grandma at a table of two, then Grandpa and Aunt join for three or four. Each game says who deals and who leads, keeps the score for you, and saves after every move, so you can put the phone down and pick the match up later.
SIX GAMES
• Knock Rummy: make sets and runs, and knock when your count is low. Lay down every card for Rummy: 25 plus everyone else's count. Knock too early and get caught, and it costs you 10 more. First to 100.
• Oh Pshaw: also known as Oh Hell. The deals climb from 1 card to 13. Bid the tricks you will take, and make it exactly for 10 plus your bid.
• Spades: you and Grandma, partners, against Grandpa and Aunt. Bid your tricks together, go nil for 100, and watch the bags. First to 500.
• Hearts: pass three cards, duck the hearts and the Queen of Spades, or take them all and shoot the moon.
• Pitch: bid for High, Low, Jack and Game. The first card led makes trump. First to 11.
• Euchre: partners again, nines through aces, with the bowers, a stuck dealer and 2 points for a march. First to 10.
