Number puzzle and logic puzzle in one: fill the grid so every < and > holds.
Futoshiki is a Japanese number puzzle and logic puzzle in one. Fill the grid so that each row and each column contains every number exactly once, and every inequality sign (< or >) between neighboring cells holds. The pointed side of a sign always faces the smaller number.
Every puzzle is generated fresh for you and has exactly one solution. Every puzzle can be solved by logic alone. Start with small 4×4 grids and move up to 9×9 as the number puzzle gets harder.
HOW TO PLAY
• Tap a cell, then tap a number.
• Turn on Notes to keep several candidates in a cell.
• Numbers that break a row, column or sign are shown in red.
SIX GRID SIZES
• 4×4, 5×5, 6×6, 7×7, 8×8 and 9×9.
• Solve a size three times to open the next one.
HELP WHEN YOU NEED IT
• A five-step interactive tutorial teaches rows, columns, signs and notes. Replay it any time from How to play.
• Reveal: puts the correct number in one cell. Free on 4×4; on 5×5 and larger grids, after a short ad.
• Check: marks the numbers you entered that are wrong, and after you confirm you can clear them all at once. The first check on each puzzle uses no coins; after that it uses coins.
• Auto notes: for 100 coins, candidates are noted automatically for the rest of the puzzle.
COME BACK EVERY DAY
• Daily missions that reward coins.
• Rankings by country.
• Your puzzle in progress is saved, so you can pick up where you left off.
If you enjoy logic puzzles and quiet mind games, give this number puzzle a try. Every grid is solved by reasoning alone, with no arithmetic needed.
