Magnifier & Flashlight makes small print big — and now it reads that print out loud. Freeze a page, tap Read aloud, and the app finds the text and speaks it, one sentence at a time, with the sentence you are hearing highlighted in large type. Everything happens on your phone: no account, no sign-up, no internet needed. 🔊 Read it out loud • Freeze the frame and tap Read aloud — the app reads the page to you • Play, pause and stop with big buttons; adjust the reading speed • The sentence being spoken is highlighted so you can follow along • Tap any sentence to start reading from there • Text recognition runs on the device. It works best on clear printed text; handwriting, curved packaging and low light may not come out right • Reading aloud uses the speech voice already on your phone. If no voice is installed for your language, the app says so and takes you to the system speech settings 📄 Big, plain reading view The recognised text is laid out again as large, high-contrast, wrapped text on a plain background. For many people that is easier than zooming into a photo. You can make the text bigger or smaller with a slider, and your high-contrast filter carries over. 📚 Reading list Save a page you want to come back to — the photo and the text are kept together on your phone. Open it later and have it read again, with no camera needed. Delete anything you no longer want; the app asks first. A Read last button on the main screen re-reads the last page you froze in one tap. 🔍 Zoom from 1x to 10x • Pinch the screen or drag the big slider — both work one-handed • Uses the camera's own zoom first, then digital zoom for the last stretch • Tap anywhere to focus on exactly that spot • Set the zoom level the app should start at 🔦 Built-in flashlight One tap turns the camera light on so you can read in a dim restaurant, a cupboard, under a desk or inside a car glovebox. ❄️ Freeze the frame Hold the phone over the text, tap Freeze, and the picture stays still. Then pinch to zoom in further and drag around the frozen image — no more shaking hands or losing your place.
