Description
Plan kiln firing schedules with ramp, hold and cone targets

Mozrelbante Blaze is a firing schedule planner for ceramics and glass. You build a complete multi-segment programme by stacking ramp and hold segments, and the app works out what that programme actually means in hours and degrees: the duration of every segment, the total firing time, the clock time the kiln will finish, and the cone-to-temperature equivalent for each target you set.
Building a schedule happens on the planner. Add a segment by tapping an Orton cone chip or by typing a target temperature directly, then drag the ramp-rate slider until the climb is what you want and set the hold in minutes. Each new segment joins the profile chart above, so the shape of the firing is visible as you organise it rather than something you have to imagine from a column of figures.
Everything recalculates live. Change a ramp rate and the per-segment durations shift, the total firing time follows, and the projected finish clock time moves with it — useful when you are deciding whether a schedule can realistically be started this afternoon. The peak cone for the programme is shown as you go, and because the planner holds the cone-to-temperature equivalent for every target, you can think in cones or in degrees and switch between the two without converting anything by hand.

The planner also watches the ramp rates themselves. If a climb is steeper than is safe for your clay or glass body, you get a warning on the segment that caused it, so an over-ambitious ramp is something you notice while you are still editing rather than after the kiln is loaded.
Schedules you are happy with go into a library. Saved programmes are kept together with their figures, so a bisque schedule, a glaze firing and a slumping profile can all sit side by side and be reopened whenever you need them again. The library keeps a running tally of total kiln hours across your saved schedules, and splits that total into a ramp-versus-hold breakdown — a straightforward way to see how much of your firing time is spent climbing and how much is spent sitting at temperature.

Mozrelbante Blaze is built for the practical questions that come up around a kiln: how long will this take, when will it be cool enough to open, what cone am I actually reaching at this peak, and is this ramp too fast for the body I am using. Stack the segments, read the chart, save the schedule, and come back to it for the next firing.
