CentBase: Envelope Budgeting

Budget before you spend, not after. CentBase is an envelope budgeting app for Android. You split each paycheck into envelopes for rent, groceries, transport, and savings, then spend from those envelopes. What is left in an envelope is what you can still spend. Your budget lives on your phone, with no account and no ads. Export all of it, or a full backup, whenever you want. BUDGET BEFORE YOU SPEND A category describes the past. An envelope sets a limit for the future. CentBase answers "can I afford this?" instead of "what did I buy?". Fill envelopes until Ready-To-Assign reaches zero, so the same money is never planned twice. Leftovers roll into next month. Put Fuel, Transit, and Maintenance under Transport, and cover an overspent sub-envelope from its parent. LOG SPENDING IN SECONDS Save a repeat transaction as a template. Schedule a bill so it posts itself, with a reminder before the money leaves. Split one receipt across several envelopes. Add a bank fee as its own linked expense, so the original amount stays honest. TURN PAYMENT ALERTS INTO DRAFTS Smart Capture reads alerts from the banking apps you choose and fills a draft with the amount, payee, and date. You check it, fix anything wrong, and save. Nothing posts without you. Smart Capture needs Plus and is still in beta. SEE THE MONTH BEFORE IT ENDS Analyze compares this year with last and forecasts the next five months from your own history. Credit cards show the statement due date, send a due alert, and warn you as you near the limit. TRACK THE REAL MONEY Accounts cover checking, savings, and credit cards, with statement cycles and repayment tracking. Tags, payees, and items let you filter any transaction by who, what, and where it went. Plus removes every cap and adds spending pace, outlooks, net worth, and Smart Capture.
