Stake is an easy-to-use guide that introduces the Sutton Hoo burial through fourteen groups of objects. Each group is presented with short capsules that explain the material, context, and role of the items. The app lets you browse the artifacts by their function in the burial chamber. You can mark pieces you want to revisit, and symbolic glyphs serve as cues for navigating the text without claiming to recreate the originals. Daily Unearthing provides one artifact each day and a random draw feature for additional finds. Your reading trail records opened capsules, and Hoardward Mark shows both the total number of openings and the count of distinct objects you have seen. You can set a museum visit date for any object or copy its capsule text to the clipboard. All bookmarks, dates, and reading activity can be cleared together after a confirmation step. All content is included in the app and works completely offline. With Stake, your favorites, notes, progress, and personal data are stored only on your device, with no registration, accounts, or cloud synchronization required.
