Scan nearby BLE beacons. iBeacon, Eddystone, LINE Beacon & more, sorted by type
BeaconScope automatically scans the radio signals sent by nearby Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) beacons and devices, and shows them clearly, sorted by type. It is useful whether you develop, install or test beacons, or are simply curious about what signals are around you.
■ Sorted by type automatically
• iBeacon (listed as a UUID → Major → Minor tree)
• LINE Beacon (HWID, Device Message)
• Eddystone (UID, URL, TLM, EID)
• AltBeacon
• Item trackers (AirTag, Tile, SmartTag and more)
• Apple devices such as iPhone and Mac, Windows PCs, Android and Google devices
• Other BLE devices
■ Easy to understand
• "What is this?" explains what each signal is for
• Company IDs and service UUIDs are shown with the company or service name from the Bluetooth SIG Assigned Numbers
• "How beacons work" explains terms such as RSSI and Measured Power
■ Details for developers
• BD address, RSSI (current, average, min, max), Measured Power, reception rate, last received time, estimated distance
• AD structures and raw data (hex). Tap to copy
• RSSI graph for each beacon (1 min, 5 min, all)
■ Filters and favorites
• Filter by UUID, BD address, signal strength, or named devices only
• Favorite beacons stay at the top of the list, and you can give them your own names
■ Records
• Save a reception log and export it as CSV (opens in Excel)
• Measurement mode: records every received packet for up to 1 hour, with graphs and CSV export
■ Free and Pro
Scanning, lists, details, graphs and the reception log are all free. Measurement mode can be used 5 times for free, and unlimited with Pro (one-time purchase, no subscription).
■ Privacy
Records of received signals are stored only on your phone and are never sent anywhere. The location permission is requested because Android requires it to receive beacons, but the app does not obtain or store your location. No ads, no analytics.
* Scanning runs only while the app is on screen.
* Estimated distance is a rough guide calculated from signal strength. Walls, people and the phone's orientation change it a lot.
* iBeacon is a trademark of Apple Inc., Eddystone is a trademark of Google LLC, and LINE is a trademark of LY Corporation.
