Description
Ski-jump game of wind flags, start gates and a K-point landing band
Harlenta Jump is a ski-jump game about choosing the right start gate. Each jump begins at the top of a floodlit hill. Wind flags along the slope show headwind and tailwind, and the whole decision rests on reading them correctly.
Before every jump the player reads the flags and averages the wind. They then check the mid-flight forecast and tap a start gate. A higher or lower gate changes the speed at take-off, and the wind shapes the flight from there. A jump counts when the jumper lands between the K-point and the hill-size line. Landing short of that band or beyond it misses the target.
Jumps come in series of up to five, and a series is cleared by landing each one inside the band. The game has 15 levels. In later levels the gusts become messier, fewer gates are available and the landing band gets narrower. That leaves less margin for a misread flag or a wrong forecast, so each gate choice has to be weighed more carefully.
Harlenta Jump is built around a single decision: the wind is read, the gate is chosen, and the jumper either lands in the band or does not.
