Sholo Guti & Bagh Bandi Game

The board games you drew in the dust as a child are back. Deshi Khela brings two classic village games of Bengal to your phone: Sholo Guti (16 Guti, also called Bead 16 or 16 Gotti) and Bagh Bandi (Bagh Bondi, the tiger and goat game). Play offline, in Bangla or English. ♟️ Sholo Guti (16 Bead) Each player has 16 pieces. Move along the lines to an empty point next to you, or jump over an enemy piece to capture it. If you can capture again after a jump, keep jumping and take several pieces in one turn. Capture all your opponent's pieces, or leave them with no move, to win. 🐅 Bagh Bandi (Tiger and Goats) One tiger against 20 goats. The goats enter the board one at a time and try to surround the tiger, while the tiger jumps over goats to catch them. The goats win if the tiger cannot move; the tiger wins by catching enough goats. Play as the tiger or the goats. Similar to Bagh Chal and Bagh Bakri. ✨ Features • Play against the computer: easy, medium and hard • Two players on one phone: play with a friend or family • Works fully offline, no account needed • Big, clear board with pieces that are easy to tap • Undo moves and ask for a hint when you are stuck • Possible moves are shown on the board • Animated "How to play" guides, so beginners learn fast • Leave a game halfway and continue later • Win and loss statistics • Your own rules: compulsory capture on or off, how many goats the tiger must catch • Bangla and English • Wooden board, piece sounds and gentle vibration 👨‍👩‍👧 For everyone A brain game for children, a trip down memory lane for grown-ups, and a piece of home for Bengalis living abroad, in Bangladesh, West Bengal, the UK, the Middle East and beyond.
