A wildfire is heading for town. You don't fly the helicopters. You paint the map, and your fleet does the rest. PAINT IT, THEY FLY IT Paint WATER on the flames and the helicopters fill up at the nearest lake and drop right where you painted. Paint RETARDANT ahead of the fire and a tanker lays the line. Paint a CUT and the dozers dig a firebreak. Paint a BURN and a crew lights the fuel before the fire gets there. Every pilot and crew makes their own call on how to get it done. Pick a region, then pick your route through its season: seven fires from a base town to the big one, each with its own land, wind and dryness. Towns from a hamlet to a city edge, and the star is for the houses you hold. EVERY FIRE PAYS IN CARDS Save the town, keep the burn small, put it out in time. Every star buys more picks: new helicopters, scoopers and tankers, hose crews, smokejumpers and dozers, parts, kits and buildings. Sixty machines and 132 cards to collect. YOUR COMPANY Name your company and build its base: helibase, airfield, station. The WORKSHOP fits parts to every machine and turns one airframe into another with 98 conversions. The LAB researches new types with the field data your fires bring in. Scores, ranks and a fire of the week. A FIRE THAT ISN'T SCRIPTED The fire follows fuel, slope and wind. It throws embers ahead of the front, climbs ridges, crosses roads when the wind is up and turns when the wind turns. No two fires play the same.
