Description

Create and revisit simple local notes in a calm space.

Glacier Notes is a focused place for writing down ideas, reminders, lists, and short pieces of information without a complicated workspace. Create a note with a title and body, return to it whenever you need, edit the content, or delete it when it is no longer useful. The app combines a clean notes workflow with a calm ice-blue visual style inspired by quiet winter landscapes. The Notes screen gives you a direct view of what you have saved. Each card displays the note title, its latest update time, and an optional preview of the body. Tap a card to open the full note for editing, or use the clearly labeled delete action when you want to remove it. The list is generated from your real saved content rather than examples, so an empty collection shows a helpful empty state and newly created notes appear as soon as they are saved. Creating a note is intentionally simple. Tap Add note, enter a title and any amount of body text you need, then save. If you leave the title empty but write a body, Glacier Notes derives a short useful title from the first line, helping the card remain easy to recognize. Open an existing note to revise either field; saving updates the same entry instead of producing a duplicate. The editor keeps attention on writing and avoids folders, templates, rich formatting controls, or unrelated modes. All notes are stored locally on the device. No account is required, and the app does not depend on a cloud workspace to display or edit your writing. Titles, bodies, timestamps, sort choice, and preview preference are restored across launches. This local-first design makes the app appropriate for quick personal notes that should remain available even when you are not connected to a network. The Recent area provides a compact route back to the entries you touched most recently. It uses the same stored notes and update timestamps, showing the latest items without inventing a separate archive. This makes it convenient to reopen an active thought or frequently adjusted checklist. From there, you can open an item, edit it, delete it, or begin a new note using the same predictable actions. Settings are tailored to the way the note list behaves. Turn note previews on when a few lines of context help you identify an entry, or turn them off for a denser, quieter list that emphasizes titles. Choose newest-first ordering when recent work should stay at the top, or oldest-first ordering when you prefer to review notes in the order they were created and updated. These settings change the actual list and remain saved for later sessions. Glacier Notes uses deliberate interaction feedback throughout the experience. Main buttons respond to touch with a subtle scale effect, list and editor transitions slide and fade smoothly, and the thematic opening mark drifts gently before the notes appear. High-contrast text, rounded cards, generous touch targets, and safe spacing around system areas help make the app comfortable to operate in portrait orientation. The design draws on crisp snow, ice, and outdoor details without getting in the way of the writing. Blue accents identify active navigation and key actions, white cards keep text readable, and small illustrated elements add atmosphere to empty and header areas. The interface remains consistent across Notes, Recent, Settings, and the editor, so returning to an earlier screen feels straightforward. Glacier Notes does not include social sharing, collaborative accounts, cloud folders, complex document formatting, or an overloaded project system. Its purpose is narrower: provide a reliable local list where a title and body can be created, reviewed, revised, sorted, and removed. That limited scope keeps common actions fast and easy to understand.
