Family GPS: Mobile Locator

Stay connected with the people who matter — with everyone's consent. Family GPS: Mobile Locator is a family locator and location sharing app for families, caregivers, and trusted groups. Create a private circle, invite approved members, and see shared locations on one map. Built for transparent communication and shared safety — not for secret tracking, spying, or monitoring someone without their knowledge or agreement. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ WHAT YOU CAN DO 📍 SHARED FAMILY MAP See the latest available location of connected members on one private map. Know when the kids are home or when someone is on the way — without the group-chat check-in. 🏫 PLACE ALERTS Save the places that matter: home, school, work. Where supported, get a notification when a participating member arrives at or leaves a saved place. 🕘 LOCATION HISTORY Review recent shared location updates and movement information, when history is available and enabled. 🆘 SOS CHECK-INS Send an SOS alert or a safety check-in to selected trusted contacts, including available location details, when assistance may be needed. 👨‍👩‍👧 PRIVATE CIRCLES Invitation only. Members join intentionally, and location visibility stays limited to people the circle has approved. 📱 DEVICE LOCATION SUPPORT Check the last available or shared location of a compatible phone or device, subject to authorization and that device's capabilities. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ PRIVACY BY DESIGN • Sharing always starts with an invitation and an agreement • Pause sharing, leave a circle, or remove a connection at any time • Every permission stays under your control in device settings • No hidden mode, no stealth tracking Only use this app with people who understand and agree to share their location. LOCATION PERMISSIONS This app may request location, background location, and notification permissions to provide location sharing, place alerts, SOS check-ins, location history, and supported device-location features. If background location access is granted, location data may be collected while the app is closed or not actively in use. GOOD TO KNOW Location accuracy and update frequency can vary because of GPS availability, network conditions, battery level, device settings, permission choices, and manufacturer restrictions. Family GPS: Mobile Locator is a communication and coordination tool. It does not provide guaranteed real-time accuracy and should not be used as a substitute for emergency responders, direct supervision, medical advice, or professional safety services.
