Pickleball Circle

Pickleball Circle runs your group’s pickleball night, from “Who’s in on Monday?” to the season standings. Plan the nights • Set when your group plays: every week, every few weeks, or a day of the month such as the 1st and 3rd Monday. • Add where you play, with its address one tap from Maps and its own court numbers, and name a court host for each night. • Move a night, change its start time or place, or call it off, then text everyone from your own phone. See who’s coming • Everyone taps “I’m in” or “Can’t make it.” Set the spots: when it’s full, a waitlist fills in the order people replied, and the first in line moves in when someone cancels. • Nudge everyone who hasn’t replied with one text from your own phone. • Short a player? Text your subs a link, and the first to say yes gets the spot. • See who didn’t show and who cancelled late. Nobody is blocked or fined. Play the night • Sign everyone in as they arrive, with subs and dues marked. • Pick how many courts. The app draws who plays where and with whom, two partners against two, and “Where do I go?” shows each player their court and partner. Anyone beyond four a court sits out in turn, and a round you sit out is no game. • Pick how the night moves. New partners each round: nobody partners the same person again until everyone has, as far as the numbers allow. Same partners all night: partners play every other set of partners in turn. Winners move up: winners go up a court, losers go down, and anyone left over waits in line. • Mixed doubles, or a stronger player with a newer one: set players to Group A or B and every pair is one of each. • When partners have to repeat, the organizer sees who and why, and can list every partner and opponent of the night. • One person at each court types the two final scores, and the app works out the winner, the difference and whether it was a pickle. Undo a game, or tap a saved game to fix it. • If a court is slow, the organizer can score it for them or leave that game out, so the next round is still drawn. • An optional round clock counts down and sounds one tone at Time. • Late arrivals play from the next round. Someone who goes home keeps their results. • If the signal drops, a game stays on the scorekeeper’s phone and is sent when it’s back. • Not everyone needs the app: add players by name, score their court yourself, and share each round as a text. Prizes and standings • Write your own prize list: best record, best point difference, most points scored, undefeated, most pickles given, most pickled, top court, or one you pick. • A night is ranked by win rate, so sitting out costs no one. • Tonight’s winners, every player’s record and a brag card to share are free. The live scoreboard, which follows every court, season standings, your record with and against everyone, the winners log and your stats come with the subscription. It doesn’t referee and keeps no ratings. No ads. Prizes and dues are notes; the app never handles your group’s money. Not in a group yet? Tap Take a look first for a private sample group. The live scoreboard, season standings, your record with and against everyone, the winners log and your stats are a subscription: $2.99 a month or $24.99 a year in the US (Google Play shows the price in Canada). The price is per person: each player who wants these subscribes for themselves, and one subscription covers every Pickleball Circle group they play in. It is bought and managed through Google Play and renews automatically until you cancel.
