Vegas UA A sealed door stands before you, and the only way through is to work out the combination of runes that opens it. Draxolive Quest is a game of pure deduction: you read the clues, narrow the possibilities, and close in on an answer that was never shown to you. Here is how it plays. A glowing row of empty sockets waits at the centre of the door. You tap the coloured scale-runes to place them into those sockets, arranging them in the order you believe is correct. When the row is full, you seal the door to test your guess. The door answers in pips. A gold pip means one of your runes is the right colour and sitting in exactly the right socket. A pale pip means the rune belongs somewhere in the combination, but you have put it in the wrong place. The pips never tell you which rune earned them, and that is the whole puzzle: from those two small numbers you must reason your way to the truth. A single gold pip can rule out an entire arrangement. Two pale pips can tell you that a colour you were about to abandon is one you cannot do without. Vegas UA Your attempts are limited, so every guess has to earn its keep. Early on you may spend a turn simply to learn which colours are in play at all. Later, when the field has narrowed, you begin testing positions rather than colours, shuffling two runes to see whether gold becomes pale or pale becomes gold. Good players learn to treat a guess not as a shot in the dark but as a question, chosen because its answer will cut the remaining options roughly in half. There are fifteen levels to work through, and they ask more of you as you go. What felt like a comfortable margin of attempts begins to feel tight, and the habit of guessing on instinct gives way to the slower pleasure of proving things to yourself before you commit. Nothing is hidden from you except the code itself; every piece of information you need has already been handed over in pips, and the challenge is whether you can read it. The controls stay simple throughout. Tap a rune, tap a socket, rearrange until the row looks right, then seal the door. There is no timer rushing you and no dexterity to master, which leaves the whole of your attention free for the thinking. Play a level in a few minutes between other things, or sit with a stubborn one and talk yourself through it rune by rune.
