BetWinner A flame sprints along a stone causeway all by itself. It never stops, it never turns, and it asks nothing of you except one thing: how big should it be right now? Hold the screen and the blaze climbs, growing tall and bright. Release, and it settles back into a low, careful flicker. That is the whole of your control, and it turns out to be plenty. The causeway is lined with braziers waiting to be lit, and only a full-grown flame reaches high enough to catch them. So you hold. But the same causeway is strung with low arches, and a tall blaze crashing into cold stone is a blaze snuffed out. So you release. Lighting and ducking pull in opposite directions, metre after metre, and the run becomes a conversation between your thumb and the road ahead: grow here, shrink now, grow again before the next brazier slides past. BetWinner Every level sets a brazier quota, and the causeway has an end. Reach it with the quota filled and the stage is yours; reach it short and you will want to look again at where you grew too late or stayed small too long. The honest pleasure of it is in reading the road early — seeing an arch and a brazier arriving almost together, and working out which one you serve first. Fifteen levels take that idea and keep turning it. From level 10 onwards the arches come wet, and passing beneath one halves your flame on the spot, leaving you suddenly far too small for the brazier you were counting on. The rhythm you had settled into stops working, and you learn to spend the stretches between arches rebuilding what the water took. BetWinner Nothing here needs explaining twice. Hold to flare, release to shrink, light what you can, fit through what you must. The rest is the causeway, the braziers and a flame that is only ever as tall as you decide to make it in that one particular moment.
