Tivoli Casino

Tivoli Casino's Snake modes all feature the golden apple, a food item worth 50 points that disappears from the grid after 7 seconds if not collected during that window. Unlike the regular apple which stays in place indefinitely, the golden apple demands a detour, the snake must change its current route to reach it before the timer expires. In Classic mode this detour may pass near obstacles or walls; in Marathon it can be threaded through a wrap-around edge; in Sprint it must be executed at maximum speed. Consistently catching golden apples separates average scores from high ones, since they award five times the points of a regular apple per pickup. Golden apples appear across all three Snake modes with the same 7-second window and 50-point value; the risk of the detour scales with which mode is active.
