Prestova Tricks

A magician's method is the one thing you never hand out, so Prestova Tricks never hands it out either. Every effect, every secret and every audience you log is written to a database on this phone. There is no account to make, no cloud copy, and the app carries no network permission, so nothing in it can be sent anywhere. Your secrets, your phone — that is the whole policy. What you keep in it — Repertoire. Each effect gets its kind of magic (cards, coins, mentalism, rope and silk, parlour), the props it needs, running time, difficulty and a stage: learning, polishing, show-ready or resting. — Hidden method notes. The method sits behind a press-and-hold panel. Someone glancing at your screen sees the patter, not the secret. — Timed practice. Pick an effect, choose a 5, 10, 15 or 20 minute target, tally run-throughs and clean runs, and the phone gives a short buzz when the target is reached. Each session lands in that effect's practice log. — Show sets. Build a running order, move effects up or out, and see the total running time before you walk on. — Performances. Note where you performed, who was watching, how many people, which set you used, a one-to-five reaction score and what landed. — Insights. Rehearsal minutes for the last eight weeks, your most rehearsed effects, the repertoire by kind and your clean-run rate. Why it stays on the device Magic runs on secrets, and a secret is only as safe as the place it is stored. Prestova keeps that place small: one phone, one local database, nobody else's server. Uninstall the app and your notes go with it. Getting started The app opens with a short sample bill of classic effects (Ambitious Card, Coins Across, a book test and a few more) so you can see how the pieces fit. Edit them into your own versions or delete them and start from a blank trunk. Light and dark themes follow your system setting: ivory playbill by day, velvet curtain at night.

Prestova Tricks 1.0 opens with a sample bill of six classic effects, press-and-hold method notes, a practice timer that buzzes at your target, show sets with running time and a performance log.
