Turn a rectangular garden bed into a clear planting grid before you open a seed packet. SeedGrid helps you plan evenly spaced rows and planting positions. Choose metric or imperial measurements, then enter the bed length and width, row spacing, plant spacing, and an optional border margin. The margin is applied to every edge so the usable dimensions and planting area stay clear. For each layout, SeedGrid shows the number of rows, positions per row, total planting positions, and a practical spacing summary. Enter how many seeds you plan to sow at each position and, if useful, add a germination or safety allowance. The recommended seed count is rounded upward so a fractional seed is never shown. Switch units at any time and current entries convert automatically. A focused result card keeps the recommended seed count prominent while the supporting layout remains easy to review. SeedGrid works entirely offline. It has no accounts, ads, analytics, tracking, Internet permission, or external contact links. Inputs and results stay in memory, and only your light or dark theme preference is stored locally. Seed spacing varies by variety, soil, climate, planting method, and whether seedlings will be thinned. Always check the seed packet and local growing guidance for spacing and planting depth.
