Word Drift: Party Word Game

A pass-the-phone conversation game for mixed-language tables. Each player reads their secret word in Japanese, English or Chinese — on one phone, offline, no sign-up. 429 word pairs in 12 categories, for 3–12 players. Ads can be removed with a one-time purchase of $2.99 (not a subscription). Topics come from everyday life in Japan — office life, seasonal events, food — so co-workers, international students and families who speak different languages can play at the same table. ■ How to play 1. Set the number of players (3–12) and each player's language (日本語 / English / 中文) 2. Pass the phone around; each player privately looks at their own word 3. Talk it over (1–10 minute timer). Stuck? A hint appears in every language at the table 4. Count "1, 2, 3", everyone points at once, and tap the player with the most votes 5. Reveal: both words are shown side by side in Japanese, Chinese and English ■ Two modes • Odd Word: everyone gets the same word except the odd one(s), who get a similar word. Find who drifted. • Blank Card: the odd one gets no word, only the category, and has to bluff.
