Signal Alert: Tracker Scanner

Signal Alert helps you scan for nearby Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices and recognize supported tracker signatures, including Apple Find My/AirTag, Tile, Samsung SmartTag, and Chipolo. Use Signal Alert when you want a clearer view of nearby Bluetooth activity and a simple way to investigate a device that may be nearby. Premium can show additional BLE information such as manufacturer data, service data, advertising details, connection information, PHY information where supported, and advertising interval estimates. Premium is available as a one-time unlock. PRIVACY FIRST Signal Alert is designed to keep scanning private. BLE scanning, tracker classification, proximity estimation, and advertisement inspection happen on your device. Scan data is not uploaded to Signal Alert servers. Signal Alert does not collect or store your GPS location. On some Android versions, Android requires location permission in order for apps to perform Bluetooth scanning. IMPORTANT TO KNOW Signal Alert cannot identify every Bluetooth device or tracker. Bluetooth devices can change identifiers, advertising behavior can vary, and not every nearby BLE device is a tracker. An unrecognized Bluetooth device should not automatically be considered suspicious. Distance estimates are based on Bluetooth signal strength and are approximate. Walls, your body, device orientation, interference, and other environmental conditions can affect the estimate. Signal Alert is designed to give you useful information so you can make a more informed decision when investigating nearby Bluetooth devices.
