StropCompound Card

StropCompound Card turns messy multi-paste stropping into one glanceable rotation workbench. It is built for knife sharpeners, straight-razor users, chisel finishers, and edge-tool restorers who must run a real sequence: active compound paste, grit band, target strokes per side, then the next stage—without losing count. Cold start opens a fullscreen compound-rotate card, not a notes list. You see the current paste name, color chip, grit label, and a progress ring for the active stage. Large Side A and Side B stroke counters take quick taps, flip sides instantly, and can lock advance until each side hits its target. Build ordered rotation queues from coarse compound to fine compound to bare leather. One tap advances to the next stage when you are ready. A seed catalog includes diamond 3µ and 1µ, chromium-oxide green, aluminum-oxide white, iron-oxide red, and pure bare leather—all editable offline. Save custom multi-stage presets with per-stage grit and stroke goals. Lock blade profiles for kitchen chef, pocket EDC, straight razor, bench chisel, or carving gouge, each with sensible stroke defaults. The session runner persists mid-strop state so a pause never resets counts or queue position. Completed-session history stores the compound sequence, total strokes, blade profile, and free-text edge notes. Quick-complete and undo-last-stroke keep the bench flowing. Prefer silent work? Optional tick marks stay vibrate-free and haptic-free. Local preferences cover default starting side, auto-advance on target, and keep-screen-on during an active card. No camera, sensors, or network—only typed setup and tactile stroke taps. Whether you are refining a kitchen edge, honing a straight razor, or finishing a chisel, StropCompound Card helps every side hit its stroke target before the next compound locks in.
