TranslateTalk turns your phone into a pocket interpreter for two people who speak different languages. Each person taps their own microphone button and speaks. TranslateTalk recognizes the speech, translates it into the other person's language, shows both in a chat bubble, and can read the translation aloud. KEY FEATURES • Two-way conversation – one button for each language, so you simply take turns. • Face-to-face mode – the top half of the screen flips around so the person across the table sees their own button and the conversation in their language. • On-device translation – after a one-time download of each language model (about 30 MB), translation runs on your phone, even without internet. • Read aloud – hear each translation in the other language, automatically or with a tap. • Type instead – use the keyboard when it's noisy or speech isn't available. • Save conversations – keep the conversation as a text file in a folder you choose and share it with other apps. • 59 languages for translation. GOOD TO KNOW • Speech recognition uses your phone's speech service (such as Google) and works online by default. • Machine translation may not be perfect. If a sentence can't be translated, the app tells you so you can say it another way. • No account or sign-up needed.
