RecipeDial: Scale Any Recipe

When a recipe makes too much or too little, RecipeDial scales the ingredients to fit. Scan a recipe from a cookbook, printout or handwritten card. You can also import a screenshot or share text or a photo into the app. Scale a recipe by servings, from eight to five, or by yield, from 24 to 36 cookies. Half, double or triple a recipe, or choose any amount. RecipeDial rounds ingredients to kitchen-friendly fractions: double 1/3 cup and you get 2/3 cup, not 0.666. Exact mode skips kitchen rounding for bakers, while salt and leavening stay precise in either mode. For awkward amounts, such as 1½ eggs, the app offers guidance on what to do. Add your resized recipe to a shopping list sorted by aisle. Open Cooking Mode for large type, ingredient check-offs and a screen that stays on while you cook. You can share, email, copy or print the resized recipe. RecipeDial Pro is a one-time purchase. It adds unlimited scans and saved recipes, multi-page scanning, pan scaling and Plans, which combine several recipes into one shopping list. RecipeDial works offline, has no ads and needs no account. Recipe photos are read on your device and stay there.
