Timegrapher app: watch rate, beat error and trace from your phone mic
A timegrapher app for mechanical watches. Rest your watch on the phone and Watch Timegrapher listens to the ticks through the mic, then shows how many seconds a day it gains or loses.
How it works
Every tick is timed and matched to its beat, so a missed tick or a stray click does not throw the reading off. The rate gets steadier the longer you listen, and a plus or minus band shows how tight it is. The trace draws each beat as a dot, like a bench timegrapher: a slope means the watch runs fast or slow, and two lines mean beat error.

Good to know
Use a quiet room and rest the watch on the phone near the mic. A contact mic can help. Readings are estimates from your phone mic, and a bench timegrapher is more accurate. Sound is analysed on your phone and nothing is uploaded.
