A clapperboard app for your phone: a full screen film slate with a clap sound timed to the moment the sticks meet, so sound and picture line up in the edit. Fill in the production, roll, scene and take, then tap or swipe the sticks. The clap sound, a short screen flash and the shut sticks land together. The app measures your phone's own audio delay and corrects for it, and a sync offset lets you fine tune it after a test clap. Recents now groups your claps by shoot day, and a night shoot past midnight stays as one day.
