Scan & Restore Old Photos

Scan & Restore brings the photos in your albums and shoeboxes back to life, on your phone. Scan a print with your camera, take out the glare, lift the fading and clean up the dust, then save it full size to your gallery with the year you know it was taken. Nothing is uploaded: every fix runs on the phone. FREE, WITH NO WATERMARK • Scan prints with your camera. The corners are found and the photo is straightened for you. • The glare remover takes four quick shots from different angles and keeps the clean part of each, so glossy prints come out without reflections. • Fix fading and colour casts in one tap, then fine tune brightness, contrast, warmth and colour. • Enlarge small prints 2x with an upscaler that runs on your phone. • Save every photo full size to your gallery, with the date you give it in the photo details. • Bring in photos you already have from your gallery. PRO • Dust and scratches: specks and fine scratches found and filled in, faces left alone, plus a heal brush and sharpening. • Negatives and slides: colour negatives, black and white negatives and slides become photos, with the orange film base taken out. A second phone or tablet can be the light panel. • Album pages: several photos in one shot, each found and straightened. • Enlarge 4x, for wallet photos and small prints you want to print bigger. • Scan many in a row, and import many photos at once. • Captions, albums and a view of the whole family by decade. • A PDF photo book and before and after videos to share with the family. You can try dust and scratches, sharpening and 4x enlarging on screen before you buy. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Scan & Restore has no account, no sign in and no internet permission. Your photos stay on your phone unless you share them yourself. PAY ONCE OR YEARLY Scan & Restore Pro unlocks every tool, and new tools as they arrive. Choose Lifetime and pay once, or choose the yearly plan, with a free trial when Google Play offers one, and cancel any time in Google Play. There are no weekly or monthly subscriptions. The Pro screen shows both prices in full and, for a trial, the date Google Play will charge you. Pro comes back on any phone signed in to the same Google account, and Restore purchase is always one tap away. WORKS BEST Everything works on any phone with Android 8 or later. For scanning, use soft daylight, keep the phone light off and let the glare remover do the rest. Whether it is your grandparents' wedding, a box of 1970s holiday prints, old negatives from the loft or a faded school photo, Scan & Restore helps you scan old photos, fix faded colour, remove dust and scratches, turn negatives into photos and keep the whole family archive dated and safe.
