Paint Colour Match: UK Paints

Paint Colour Match finds the closest real paint colour to a wall, a door, a cushion or an old paint chip. Point your camera, tap Match, and see your colour next to the nearest paints so you can judge the match with your own eyes. REAL UK PAINT COLOURS Over 2,000 colours from Dulux, Crown and Farrow & Ball, each using the screen colour its maker publishes. Farrow & Ball colours show their numbers, such as Hague Blue No. 30. A TRUER READING WITH WHITE PAPER Phone cameras change brightness and colour for every scene, so a camera on its own can mistake a shaded white wall for a grey one. Hold a sheet of plain white printer paper on the wall, tap the paper, then tap the wall. The app uses the paper to correct the light. HOW CLOSE IS IT? Every match is labelled Very close, Close, Similar or Rough match, so you know when to trust it and when to get a tester pot. FREE, WITH NO LIMIT - Unlimited matches - Tap any spot on the screen to measure it - White paper correction - Freeze, pinch to zoom and torch - The three closest paints for every reading - Save colours with your own notes, share them as a picture - Speak paint names out loud, if you want it PRO, ONE PAYMENT - Rooms: group colours by room with notes and a photo of the wall - Match from a photo of a cushion, tile or fabric - Five matches and a filter for the brands you shop at - Compare two colours, such as a dried tester pot and your wall - Colours that go with it: lighter and deeper shades, a woodwork white, neighbours and contrasts - Light advice for north, south, east and west facing rooms - Paint calculator that works out litres and which tins to buy - Shareable shopping list for each room PRIVATE BY DESIGN The camera picture and your photos are read on your phone and never uploaded. No account. Saved colours and rooms stay on your phone. GOOD TO KNOW Screen colours and phone cameras are a guide, not a laboratory instrument. Always paint a tester pot before you buy. Paint Colour Match is an independent app and is not made or endorsed by Dulux, Crown, Farrow & Ball or any shop. Brand and colour names belong to their owners.
