Drum Tuner: Lug & Head Pitch

Drum Tuner listens through your phone's microphone and helps you get a drumhead even all the way round, then set the note you want. Tap in front of each lug and the app reads its pitch, shows how far it is from the others, and tells you which way to turn the key. The next lug lights up as you go, across the drum the way drum makers advise. When every lug matches, strike the middle of the head to read its note and tune towards a target. Free - Lug matching on the top head: each lug compared with the others, with tighten or loosen hints in cents - Lugs go across the drum (1, 5, 3, 7 and so on), or round it if you prefer - From 4 to 16 lugs, for snares, toms and bass drums - Centre pitch in Hz and the nearest note, with an optional target note - Lock a pitch to tune the other lugs to it - Share a picture of your top head readings - No account, works offline, and nothing leaves your phone Drum Tuner Pro A one-time purchase, with no subscription: - Tune the bottom head too, matched to the top: the same pitch or a half step above - Save every drum in kits, with lug readings for both heads - Retune to a saved sound later, lug by lug - Share pictures of both heads without the watermark Good to know Works best in a quiet room with the phone about 30 cm from the drum. Phone mics hear very low bass drum notes faintly, so tap the bass drum a little harder.

Lug matching and centre pitch on the top head stay free. The bottom head is now part of Drum Tuner Pro, together with kits, retuning to a saved sound and clean pictures. If you bought Pro before, nothing changes for you. New: a clear "Every lug is even" when a head is done. New: a Rate on Google Play link in Settings.
