Xiangqi (Chinese chess) offline against 14 computer levels, with hints and undo
Xiangqi, also called Chinese chess, on a clear board. Play the computer at a level that fits you, from your first game to a strong player. Plays offline, no account needed.
Play the computer
• 14 levels, from someone who just learned how the pieces move to a strong player. The levels were measured against each other in test games, so each step is a real step up.
• Play Red and move first, or play Black. Your side is always at the bottom of the board.
• Tap a piece and dots show where it can go.
• Undo as often as you like, at no cost.
• Stuck? A hint shows a good move. You get 3 hints a day, and a short video gives you 3 more.
• Wins, losses and draws are kept for each level, and an unfinished game waits for you to continue.
The full rules
• WXF rules, including perpetual check and perpetual chase.
• When a game ends, the board tells you why: checkmate, no moves left, perpetual check, perpetual chase, repetition or 50 moves without a capture.
Every day
• A daily streak calendar, a league against bots, and events.
Made to be comfortable
• Dark mode
• Wooden piece sounds and light vibration, each with its own switch
• Move dots and piece animation can be turned off
• 75 languages
Ads and Ad-free pass
An ad may show before a game you start, never during a game. Short videos are optional and give you extra hints.
The Ad-free pass lasts 1 week, 3 months or 1 year. You pay once and it does not renew on its own. While it lasts there are no ads at all, not even optional videos, and when you run out of hints you get 3 more, once a day.
What's new
Improved stability when reopening the game from shortcuts and other entry points.
