Classic sudoku puzzles on a quiet board, with hints that teach, and it all works offline. When you get stuck, a hint names the solving technique, lights up the cells that prove it and tells you what to do next. How it plays • Tap a cell and then a digit, or a digit and then cells. No mode switching. • Notes sit in fixed spots in each cell and can clear themselves when you place a digit. • Undo and redo, even after you close and reopen the app. • Mark mistakes your way: off, repeated digits in a row, column or box, or digits that don't match the solution. • Mistake limit: three mistakes end the board. You can turn it off in the Gameplay settings. Hints that teach • Each hint names its technique: Hidden single, Naked pair, Pointing pair, X-Wing, Y-Wing, Swordfish and more. • It lights up the cells behind it and explains them in a sentence. Tap again to apply it. • Check answers and Fill notes are in the help menu. Times with help are listed apart. Puzzles • Five levels from Easy to Expert, graded by the techniques each puzzle needs • Every puzzle has exactly one solution • Today's puzzle: a daily sudoku, with a streak count • Custom: type in a puzzle from a book or newspaper. The app tells you if it has no solution or more than one, and keeps it in your Library • Harder levels, Today's puzzle and Custom open up as you solve Records • Average and fastest time for each level • Win rate, flawless wins and win streak Also • Dark mode • Change the board size and position • Highlight matching digits and the row, column and box • Count of digits left • Tablet layout • Works offline, no Wi-Fi or account needed Ads and Ad-free pass The game shows ads between puzzles. Watching a short video is optional and gives you extra hints or lets you carry on after running out of mistakes. The Ad-free pass lasts 1 week, 3 months or 1 year. You pay once and it does not renew on its own. While it lasts there are no ads at all, not even optional videos. When you run out of hints you get 3 more, once a day, and once per puzzle you can carry on after running out of mistakes without a video.
