Classic minesweeper with no-guess boards, hints that explain and offline play
Classic Minesweeper on clean, rounded boards, made to be solved by thinking rather than guessing. Standard boards are no-guess: logic can always find the next safe cell. It plays offline, with no account.
How it plays
• Your first tap always opens an empty area.
• If a board might need a guess, it says so on the board.
• Pick your controls: tap to dig and hold to flag, the other way round, or tap only with a dig and flag switch.
• The cell you are aiming at is ringed above your finger, so your thumb never hides it.
• Tap a number whose flags are all placed to open the cells around it.
When you get stuck
• Undo any move.
• A hint lights up a safe cell or a mine and names the numbers that prove it.
• Hit a mine? The board shows what the numbers could have told you, and you can carry on from just before the mine.
Boards
• Beginner 9×9, Intermediate 16×16, Expert 30×16 (stood upright on phones) and Master 30×30 with pinch to zoom
• Custom boards: choose the width, height and number of mines
• Today's board: one board a day, with a streak count
• Expert, Master and Custom open up as you win
After a win
• Your time, 3BV/s, fastest time and win streak
• Watch a replay of the whole game
Also
• Three themes: Paper, Dusk and Pitch
• Settings for number colors, grid lines, motion speed, sound and vibration
• Tablet layout
• Works offline, no Wi-Fi or account needed
Ads and Ad-free pass
The game shows ads between boards. Watching a short video is optional and gives you extra hints or lets you carry on after a mine.
The Ad-free pass lasts 1 week, 3 months or 1 year. You pay once and it does not renew on its own. While it lasts there are no ads at all, not even optional videos. When you run out of hints you get 3 more, once a day, and once per board you can carry on after a mine without a video.
What's new
Improved stability when reopening the game from shortcuts and other entry points.
