Hidra: Chat, Calls & Pages

Hidra is chat, calls and Pages with no one in the middle. Servers with text and voice channels, group conversations, and Pages: posts and statuses from your friends. Everything lives on the phones and computers of the people who are part of it, and nowhere else. No account You are a key created on your own phone. No email address, no phone number, nothing to sign up for. Someone becomes your friend with your code; there is no directory to look you up in. Servers no one rents A Hidra server is not a machine that someone rents. It is a document that every member has a full copy of, and the copies keep each other up to date. Text and voice channels, and a password if you want one. Everything said is on your own phone, so you can read and write without a connection, and it catches up when you reconnect. Calls Voice channels with noise suppression, and calls in any conversation or group. Watch anyone's shared screen. Talk through a Bluetooth or wired headset, the speaker or the earpiece, and test your microphone before you join. Pages A page of your own, a feed with your friends' posts, statuses that last for a day, and group pages for your clubs and servers. A post for your friends is sealed for them before it leaves your phone. Through any router Tor and Yggdrasil are built in, so everyone can reach everyone without opening a port or setting anything up. When two devices can connect directly they do, and whichever way it goes, what is sent is end-to-end encrypted. Settings › Network can hide your IP address behind Tor. Messages even when you're not looking Hidra has no server that keeps your messages, so it can stay connected instead, with a small notification that says so, and let you know when a message arrives or someone calls. On your phone and your PC Create a profile on the phone, or link it with Hidra on your PC and carry on where you left off. The two keep each other up to date. Groups and Pages need Hidra 10 or newer on the phones and PCs of the people you use them with.

Adding a friend is quicker: show your code and whoever scans it is your friend at once, or scan theirs. One Scan for every code, and an Add button on Home. Videos play in Hidra. Events as a month.
