Family — stay in touch

Family is a simple app for calling and messaging your own people: parents, children, grandparents. Only the people you invite to your family can reach you — no strangers can call or write. CALLS • Video and voice calls in one tap — every person has two big buttons, "Video" and "Voice". • Calls ring even when the app is closed: the incoming call appears on the lock screen, like a normal phone call. • Group calls: during a call, tap "Add" to bring in someone else from the family. • Screen sharing — to help your parents with their phone. • Sound and video go directly between the phones whenever possible. • Call history, including missed calls. MESSAGES • A private chat with each family member and a shared family chat. • Photos — the app shrinks them so they send quickly. • "Delivered" and "read" ticks. • Notifications for new messages; any conversation can be muted. EASY FOR EVERYONE • Large text and big buttons — comfortable for older people. • Sign in with a code sent to your e-mail, or scan a QR code from a phone where you are already signed in — no passwords. • Invite someone with a link or a QR code. You can be in several families. • Everyone can name the others the way they are used to: "Mom", "Dad", "Grandma". HONEST • Free. No ads. No subscriptions. • We do not sell or share your data. • You can delete your account right in the app: Settings → Delete the account. Your messages, photos and call history are deleted with it. Works on Android 7.0 and newer. There are versions for iPhone and Mac, and everyone can call everyone.
