UPNOOK: Home Maintenance

UPNOOK helps homeowners and renters organize home equipment, recurring maintenance tasks, service history, and maintenance costs in one local-first app. KEY CAPABILITIES (FREE IN MVP) * Home & Equipment Inventory: Track appliances, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, exterior, and safety equipment by category and location. * Recurring & One-Time Tasks: Start from built-in maintenance templates or create custom schedules anchored to your due dates. * Service History & Cost Summaries: Log completed maintenance with completion dates, service providers, notes, and USD expenses. View monthly, yearly, all-time, equipment, and task totals. * Local Device Reminders: Receive optional local notifications on the due date or 1, 3, or 7 days in advance. * Manual JSON Backup & Restore: Export a complete snapshot of your household records to a portable JSON file and restore it onto a new device. OFFLINE & LOCAL-FIRST STORAGE * No account or sign-up required. * Your household records (home profile, equipment, maintenance tasks, completion logs, and expenses) are stored locally in an on-device SQLite database. * UPNOOK does not provide automatic cloud synchronization. Uninstalling the app or clearing app storage removes local data unless you have exported a manual JSON backup file and stored it outside the app. OS REMINDER LIMITATIONS * Reminders use native Android and iOS local notifications. * Notification delivery depends on operating system permissions, battery optimization settings, and background scheduling rules. You can verify or reconcile your reminder queue anytime in Settings. ADVERTISING & PRIVACY * All core features in this release are free to use. * A single non-personalized banner ad may appear at the bottom of the Home screen only after Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent requirements are satisfied. * Ads never appear during onboarding, on Maintenance, History, or Settings tabs, or while editing forms and dialogs. * Your household names, notes, costs, dates, and equipment records are never included in ad requests or analytics.
