Open a JSON file, see it as a tree or as text, search it, edit it, and save it. Files you're allowed to write are saved back to the original; others (such as files shared from another app) are saved under a new name. No sign-in. ■ View - Tree: expand and collapse to see the structure, with item counts and paths ($.items[3].name). - Text: the file as it is, with line numbers. Very long lines are folded. - When you are deep in the tree, Back moves up one level at a time. - Pick this app from another app's Share menu to open a JSON file right away. - Big files: open files up to 50 MB. Editing works up to 5 MB; larger files, and files whose encoding, format or structure can't be edited safely, open for viewing and search only. - Broken JSON: see the line, the column and the reason. - XML files open as a tree of elements and attributes (view only). ■ Search and copy - Search keys and values and jump to each match. What's around each match stays in view. - Copy a value, a key, a path or a whole node. Copy all the text of smaller documents too; large documents may be refused because of the phone's clipboard limit. ■ Edit and save - Change values, rename keys, add, duplicate or delete items, or edit the text directly. - Undo. - Saving changes only what you edited. Indentation, key order and number formats (1.0, 1e3, long integers) stay as they were. - If something goes wrong while saving, the app restores the original or keeps a copy in Recovery files. It keeps a copy of the original first and reads the file back after saving to check. - If the app closes suddenly, you can continue from the last automatic save. - Save pasted JSON as a new file. ■ PDF Save or share the text as a PDF with line numbers. Or print the neatly indented text right away. PDF and printing work for documents up to 5 MB and 2,000 pages. ■ Privacy Your JSON and XML file contents are processed on your device and are not sent to our servers. Copies and edits the app keeps are not put in your Google account backup. When you choose to save, share or print, the file goes to the location (including cloud drives), app or print service you pick. Google services process device information for ads and app statistics.
