ScoreSide

ScoreSide keeps the score for amateur matches and knows the rules so you do not have to argue about them. Pick the sport, name the two sides, and tap the side that won the point. SIX SETS OF RULES Tennis and padel: 0, 15, 30, 40, deuce and advantage, a tie-break at six games all, best of three or five sets, optional No-Ad scoring and an optional super tie-break to ten in the deciding set. The serve indicator follows the rules too, including the one-then-two pattern inside a tie-break. Volleyball: sets to 25, the deciding set to 15, win by two. Table tennis: sets to 11, win by two, with the serve changing every two points and every point from ten all. Badminton: sets to 21, win by two, capped at 30. Basketball: four periods, points worth one, two or three, and team fouls counted per period. Custom: your own target, margin and number of sets for whatever you actually play. UNLIMITED UNDO Every point is stored in order, and the scoreboard is worked out from that list. Undo therefore goes back as far as you like — across a game, across a set, even across the end of the match — and the sets, the serve and the winner all follow correctly. A mis-tap is never a problem. BUILT FOR THE COURTSIDE Two big halves in the colours you chose, numbers you can read at arm's length, a match clock, a match-point warning, and the set history under the board. The screen can stay awake while you score, and the match is saved after every point, so closing the app or a flat battery does not lose it. AFTER THE MATCH The final screen shows the result by sets, offers a rematch with the same format, and can hand a short summary to the Android share sheet. Finished matches go to History with their set-by-set line and can be filtered by sport. Add the people you play with, and every match counts towards their wins, losses and win percentage by sport. PRIVATE AND OFFLINE No account, no ads, no analytics, no permissions at all, and no network requests: the app is a scoreboard, not a sports service. No live scores, no odds and no betting. Everything stays on your device.
