GetDone

GetDone is a private app for a few people who agree on tasks and check the work together. You join by invitation only: there is no public feed and no way for strangers to find you. WHAT A CIRCLE IS A circle is a one-to-one connection or a group. Create one and share your private invitation link, or join with a link or code someone sent you. A one-to-one invitation can be used once; a group invitation can be used by several people for seven days. When you join, you choose your role, task giver or task doer, and that role belongs to that circle alone. You can also simply chat. TASKS A task giver writes the task: title, description, who does it, what is tracked (completion, a count, minutes or a target) and when it runs, once or on a schedule: daily, weekly, monthly, every few days, or in hourly windows. The other responsible people accept or decline before the task starts. PROGRESS AND APPROVAL A task doer reports progress with a short written note. Every active responsible person reviews it and approval is unanimous: one rejection asks for a new report. Only approved progress counts towards the target. If the giver turns the scoreboard on, the people on the task see approved totals; explanations and review notes stay private. WHEN WORK IS MISSED The giver decides in advance what happens when a period ends unfinished: record it, mark it unsuccessful, deduct points automatically, or let the responsible people decide together and apply, ignore, or give extra time. POINTS Points belong to one circle and one giver. Each giver keeps a separate balance for you, and group points are kept apart from personal ones. Nothing moves between balances, and no real money is involved anywhere in the app. You can read your own point history. REWARDS A giver writes their own reward list and sets a point threshold for each reward. When your balance reaches the threshold you can request the reward, and the giver approves or declines it. A group reward belongs to the group: every current giver has to approve the proposal and the request, and one decline closes it. STAYING IN CONTROL - An inbox inside the app collects task invitations, review requests, decisions and reward news. Only you see your inbox. - Leaving a task needs a responsible person's approval. Leaving a circle needs no one's approval. - Phone notifications tell you when a task arrives, when progress is sent and when a task is almost due. You choose which ones you get, and they show only a person's name and a short general message, never task or reward names. - A profile photo is optional, and only people who share a chat or group with you can see it. - You can delete your account from Profile, in the app. Deletion happens right away and cannot be undone. - 13 interface languages: English, Spanish, Chinese (Simplified), Hindi, Arabic, Portuguese, French, Russian, Japanese, German, Korean, Italian, Turkish. WHAT GETDONE DOES NOT DO GetDone is free. There are no ads, no subscriptions and no in-app purchases. It does not use your location or contacts and does not collect analytics or crash reports.
