Zen Invoice is a calm, no-nonsense invoicing app for freelancers, sole traders and small studios. Build an invoice in four steps, generate a real PDF, and send it — all on your device, with no account and no internet connection. WHY ZEN INVOICE Most invoicing apps want you to sign up, sync to a server and pay a monthly fee before you can bill your first client. Zen Invoice does none of that. Your clients, your invoices and your business details live in a database on your own phone. There is no login screen, no cloud, and nothing to cancel. FOUR STEPS TO AN INVOICE 1. HEADER — the invoice number is generated for you from your own prefix, and the due date is filled in from your default terms. Change either one if you want to. 2. ITEMS — add up to ten lines. Quantity times price rolls up into a running subtotal as you type. 3. CLIENT — start typing a name you have billed before and pick them from the list. Their business name, address, phone and email fill themselves in. 4. TAX AND TOTAL — switch on tax and service charge as percentages, see the breakdown, and read the grand total before you commit. A REAL PDF, NOT A SCREENSHOT Tap Generate PDF and Zen Invoice lays out a proper A4 or US Letter document: your business details as the letterhead, the client block, the itemised table, the tax breakdown, a signature line and your footer message. It opens in the built-in viewer so you can check it, then goes out through the normal Android share sheet to email, chat, cloud storage or a printer. The invoice list marks every invoice Paid, Unpaid or Overdue, and you can search it by number or client name. Swipe an invoice to mark it paid or delete it — with an undo if you change your mind. The client list shows how many invoices each person has. There are no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs in the app. The only permission it requests is INTERNET, and that is used solely so Android can fetch the two Google Fonts the interface is set in.
