Crontab lines parsed, read back in English and forecast to the minute, offline.
Vixie-compatible five-field parser, a plain-English readback and a next-run table that honours the zone you pick. For anyone who has ever shipped `0 9 13 * 5` expecting Friday the 13th and got every Friday instead.
▪ Inspect
Paste or type any line: `*/15 9-17 * * 1-5`, `0 6 1 */3 *`, `@weekly`. The parser validates field by field and names the one that fails ("range 50-10 runs backwards", "six fields usually means a seconds column"), instead of a generic error. Each field gets its own row: raw token, resolved values, matched count (for example 5/7 weekdays). When both day-of-month and day-of-week are restricted, the OR rule is flagged on screen.
A symbol strip above the keyboard inserts `*` `,` `-` `/` and space at the cursor, so no hunting through the symbols layer.
▪ Forecast
Next 5, 10, 20 or 50 fire times, computed against a real calendar in any IANA zone (Europe/Budapest, America/Denver, Asia/Kolkata…) with relative offsets. Summary stats: shortest gap, longest gap, fires in the next 24 h. Impossible dates such as the 30th of February return an explicit "never fires" within an 8-year horizon rather than an empty list.
▪ Builder
Compose a schedule without memorising syntax. Every field switches between Every, Step (with start offset), Pick (tap values on a grid) and Range. The token compresses automatically: picking 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 emits `1-5`, picking 0 and 30 emits `0,30`. Quick starts cover the usual suspects: every 5 min, hourly, nightly 02:30, weekdays 09:00, 1st of month, quarterly. Any saved or inspected line loads back into the builder for editing.
▪ Shelf
Keep the schedules you maintain with a label and a free-text note for the command or host (`certbot renew --quiet`, `pg_dump`, a Jenkins job name). Pin the critical ones to the top, filter by label, expression or note, and see each entry's next run at a glance.
▪ Reference
Field order and ranges, operators, `@` shortcuts, plus the traps that bite in production: DOM/DOW OR semantics, `*`-prefixed fields keeping AND semantics, no seconds or year column (Quartz and AWS strings are called out), non-wrapping steps, DST skips and repeats, and `%` in the command column. Ten worked examples open straight in Inspect.
Supported syntax: numbers, names (JAN-DEC, SUN-SAT), lists, ranges, steps on `*`, on ranges and on single values (`5/10`), weekday 7 as Sunday, and @yearly, @annually, @monthly, @weekly, @daily, @midnight, @hourly. @reboot is recognised and explained.
Preferences: 24-hour or 12-hour clock, default zone, preview length. Light and dark themes follow the system.
No network permission is declared; saved schedules persist in app-private storage on the device.
