Mix five-color palettes, explore harmonies and check readable color pairs.
Color is easier to judge when you can put it next to another color. TintPocket is a compact workbench for building five-color combinations, adjusting their character and keeping the ones you want to return to.
Tap any of the five swatches to make it active. Move the hue, saturation and lightness sliders to explore a color, or enter a six-digit hexadecimal value when you already know what you want. The swatch and its code update together. Each slider has a numeric readout, so you can work by eye and still understand the change you are making.
Build a harmony around the selected color using Analogous, Complementary or Triad. The selected swatch remains the anchor. Lock any other colors you want to protect, and the harmony tool will work around them. A lock affects automatic rebuilding; you can still select a locked color and refine it manually. This makes it possible to keep a useful background or accent while looking for the rest of the combination.
The Compare tab lets you choose a text color and background color from the current mix. A reading sample shows them together, and a contrast ratio reports their relative brightness. Separate targets cover normal text, large text and enhanced normal-text contrast. The calculation uses solid sRGB colors and checks the original ratio before rounding the displayed number. The final font, weight, size and surrounding content still deserve attention in the work where you use the colors.
Preview your mix in a small editorial layout, where five colors become shapes, a page and an accent. Then give the palette a name and keep it on your shelf. Saved palettes begin as an empty collection. Load one back into the workbench, rename it or delete it after confirmation. Loading lets you explore a variation without silently changing the saved original. Save that variation under its own name when it is worth keeping.
Your current mix, selected color, locks and saved shelf are stored in the app. TintPocket uses no camera, photo library, clipboard service, account or internet connection. There are no advertisements or device-permission requests. It is an offline space for deliberate color choices, from the first interesting pair to a small palette with a clear purpose.
