Oakrail Pool: 8-Ball & 9-Ball

Oakrail Pool: 8-Ball & 9-Ball is a pool game for one player. Take a cue at an oak-railed table and play twelve club rivals across four venues: the Oak Room club, Harbour Pavilion, City Loft and the Grand Hall. Drag anywhere on the table to swing the cue around the cue ball. Use the fine-aim wheel for small changes, tap the cue-ball icon to strike above, below or to the side of centre, then pull the power slider and let go. The balls slide, roll and spin. A stop shot stops, a draw shot comes back, and side spin changes the angle off a cushion. The same shot always gives the same table. Play 8-ball or 9-ball. In 8-ball you pot your group, solids or stripes, then the black 8, calling the pocket first. In 9-ball you must hit the lowest ball first, and a legal 9 wins the frame. A foul gives your opponent ball in hand, so they can place the cue ball anywhere. Club ladder: race to two, three or four frames against each rival. Beat a rival to unlock the next one. Each rival has three stars to earn: win the match, win by two frames or more, and make a run-out. Trick shots: sixty shots in six sets, each with a shot limit. Clear a trick shot within its limit to earn a star, then leave the cue ball in the marked zone for more. A guideline line shows the path of the cue ball and the object ball. It is longer on the early sets and shorter on the later ones. Practice: set up an 8-ball or 9-ball rack, or an empty table. Move any ball, undo any number of shots, and play alone or against a practice opponent. Daily challenge: one 9-ball run-out layout each day, the same for every player on the same date. Stars come at 3, 6 and 9 balls. Premium is a one-time purchase called the Club Collection. It adds eight cue designs, four table finishes and thirty Masters trick shots. Cues and finishes change only how the table looks. Premium does not change the physics, the scoring or how the rivals play. Remove Ads is a one-time purchase that stops the full-screen ads between sessions. Restore purchases is in Settings. The game contains ads and offers in-app purchases. A full-screen ad can appear only after you leave a match result, a daily challenge result or a trick-shot summary. It never appears during play. Three rewarded offers are labelled and always your choice: retake a shot in a match, get a hint on a trick shot, or take a second attempt at the daily challenge. Settings include sound, music, haptics, reduced motion, guideline length, aim sensitivity, a left-handed or right-handed layout, the low aim view by default and a replay of the tutorial. Your progress and the match in progress are saved on your device, so you can close the game and carry on later. The game is for players aged 13 and over. The internet is used for ads and for purchases through Google Play.
