🚂 The departure siding is empty, the wagons are parked in the wrong order, and the little tin engine can only pull two or three of them per trip. Your job is to sort the yard and send the train out. Manobrix Yard is a railway shunting game in the style of an old lithographed tinplate train set, seen from above. Each shift hands you a manifest card. Fill the departure siding with exactly those wagons, in exactly that order, then watch the signal turn green and the train roll away. 🧭 How a trip works Tap a wagon in a siding. That wagon and everything between it and the points comes along. Tap another siding and the engine couples up, pulls the group onto the headshunt and pushes it into place. Order is kept, so the wagon nearest the points stays nearest the points. 📏 The two rules that make it tricky • The engine hauls a limited number of wagons per trip (shown on every shift). • Every siding has a fixed length, marked by a red-and-white post. A full siding takes nothing more. 🗺️ Three yards, 36 shifts • Orchard Halt: three short sidings and two kinds of wagon to learn the moves. • Ribeira Junction: four sidings, three cargoes, tighter haul limits. • Harbour Docks: all four cargoes and the longest manifests. Each yard opens once you have collected enough stars in the earlier ones. ⭐ Par and stars Every shift has a par, the fewest trips that can solve it. Match par for three stars and a PERFECT RUN stamp on your dispatch ticket. 🪔 Lamp oil hints Stuck? Light a lamp and the next useful trip glows on the board. Lamp oil is earned by playing: a first three-star finish or a completed daily shunt tops it up. Undo and restart are always free. 📅 Daily shunt A fresh yard every day, the same for that date, with a streak counter for the days in a row you send it out. 🎨 Livery cabinet Five paint schemes for your wagons, from Workshop Tin to Orchard Fair, unlocked by the stars you collect. 🪨 Four cargoes, four shapes Coal hoppers, timber flats, milk tanks and fruit vans each have their own outline and load, so you can tell them apart without relying on colour. 🌙 Lamp-lit dusk palette when your phone is in dark mode. ⚙️ Settings for Sound, Haptics and Reduce motion (switches off screen shake, drifting cloud shadows and big bursts). 🔒 Plays offline from the first whistle. Stars, lamp oil and liveries are stored on your phone, and there are no ads, no purchases and no sign-in.
