Grab your rope, lace your boots and say hi to Leni, Sepp and Mira, your new mountain guide crew! 🏔️ Firnex Guides is a cosy alpine puzzle RPG where the whole party travels on one red rope, and you'll love watching it snake across the glacier behind your lead guide. 🥾 How A Climb Works Swipe to move your lead guide one square at a time, and everyone on the rope follows in line. Stranded walkers are waiting out on the ice: step onto one and they clip in, so your rope gets one climber longer. Once every walker is on the rope, the hut door swings open and you can head inside! ❄️ The Snow Bridges Are The Twist A snow bridge holds your team exactly once. The moment your last climber steps off, it cracks and drops into the crevasse, so plan your route before you cross! Every step also costs stamina, and a guide who runs out has to turn back. 🎒 Your Party Levels Up Every climb earns XP for the guide who led it, even a climb where you had to turn back. Guides go all the way to level 10, gaining extra stamina and more uses of their skill: • Leni the Pathfinder: Trail Sense shows the next good step • Sepp the Rigger: Belay takes back your last step • Mira the Porter: Second Wind refills a few points of stamina Sepp and Mira join the party as you clear more of the route, and you pick who leads before each climb. 🌼 Gear Chest Summits pay out in edelweiss. Spend them on a hemp rope (more stamina for everyone), steel crampons (an extra skill use for every guide), a storm lantern (a bonus hint when Sepp or Mira leads) and two new rope colours. 🗺️ The Route 30 climbs across three ranges, Stubai Firn, Oetztal Ice and Glockner Crown, each one with a par. Match it for three stars! Stars open the next range, and a fresh Daily Climb shows up every day with its own streak. 🎨 Painted Like A Farmhouse Cupboard Everything is drawn in a hand-painted Tyrolean style: green pine panels, ochre scrolls, edelweiss and little folk-painted climbers. Snow puffs at every step, bridges crack with a satisfying crunch, and soft chimes ring when walkers clip in. Sound, Haptics and Reduce motion each have their own switch in Settings. ✈️ Plays just as happily in airplane mode as in the valley café: there are no ads and nothing for sale, and every level, star and piece of gear is stored on your phone.
