Learn to tell time: o'clock, quarters, minutes, 24-hour clock. No ads.
Hodinko teaches children to read a clock with hands — in English, Slovak, Czech and German, the way each language really says the time.
SIX LEVELS
• O'clock
• Half past
• Quarters
• Five minutes
• Every minute
• 24-hour clock — 14:15 is still quarter past two
TWO WAYS TO PRACTISE, FREE
• Read the time off the dial and pick the right answer.
• Set the hands with a finger. The short hand moves with the long one, just like a real clock, so at quarter to three it sits almost on the three.
Every question offers the neighbouring hour among the wrong answers, because that is the mistake children make most often.
TWO MORE WITH A ONE-TIME UNLOCK
• Match a time written in digits to the clock face that shows it.
• Work out what the clock will show after a number of minutes have passed.
THE RIGHT WORDS
English times follow the National Curriculum in England; Slovak and Czech times follow the Slovak and Czech academies' language institutes; German times follow standard German. Every phrase is checked by a test. Minutes between the quarters are read as digits, such as 2:20.
MADE FOR CHILDREN
• No ads.
• No notifications, no accounts, no sign-up.
• No timer — your child can think for as long as they need.
• A question for a parent stands in front of buying or restoring the one-time unlock.
• Practising works without internet. Buying or restoring the unlock goes through Apple's or Google's own purchase system, not a server of ours.
After 10 right answers in a row your child earns a star and is offered the next level.
Що нового
More reliable unlock purchases and restores, fixes for elapsed-time exercises, and clearer controls on small phones and tablets.
