Train, play and climb 100 floors with words in English and five more languages.
Ever learned a word, then drawn a blank when you needed it?
Try putting your language practice into play. Learning words can be more fun.
Tower 100 is a word game where you listen, read, write and speak your way through 100 floors in English and five other languages. It makes repeated practice and new challenges something to look forward to.
* Start on a floor that suits you
A placement test sets your starting floor when you first begin. You don't have to start on floor 1. If you already know plenty of words, you can begin your adventure higher up.
Earn your way to the next floor. Answer each word repeatedly in training and adventures. The next floor opens once your learning record for every word meets the passing criteria.
Simply surviving longer or finishing a game won't move you up. Discover new scenery and special challenges every 10 floors, and build your skills one floor at a time as you aim for the top.
* Words to master
Conquer all 100 floors and work towards mastering 5,000 words.
* Practice remembering, while you play
A word may look familiar when you see its meaning, yet feel different when you hear it or try to spell it. Tower 100 lets you meet the same word in several ways.
• Listening: hear a word and recall the word or its meaning.
• Reading: read words and sentences and check what they mean.
• Writing: use the meaning as a clue and type the word to practice spelling.
• Speaking: say words and example sentences out loud.
• Puzzles: recall words as you fill in a crossword.
Escape a pursuer, find your way through a maze and protect your food supplies while putting words you've learned to use. Checking answers and trying again turns each challenge into a chance to review.
* Training counts as study, too
Choose training when you want a quieter practice session. There are six types: listen and identify the word, listen and identify the meaning, reading, writing, say the word you see, and say the word that matches a meaning.
Check pronunciation and meaning, then practice by typing or speaking. Revisit words you got wrong and collect them in your wordbook for review.
* Choose from six languages
Select the language you want to learn.
Want to learn English? Choose English for training and games. Want to learn Spanish? Choose Spanish. You can also learn French, Japanese, German and Korean through play.
Study words, pronunciation and example sentences in your chosen language. Each language has its own starting floor and learning progress, so you can pick up where you left off.
* A wordbook that grows with you
Revisit words from training and adventures in your wordbook, or add words you want to study yourself. Keep your challenge going with attendance rewards, personal learning records and avatar customization.
Parents looking for a fun way for their children to review a language, students and adults who want to remember what they've studied: there's room for you all to take on the tower.
Use the words you learned today to climb one floor higher.
Take on all 100 floors in Tower 100.
