Bonsaily: Bonsai Care App

Bonsaily is the bonsai care app that gives every tree in your collection its own photo timeline, care log and one calm daily reminder, season after season. Photograph each tree from the same angle every time and keep a bonsai journal of every repotting, wiring and pruning. No account, no sign-up, and your photos stay inside the app. UNLIMITED TREES, AT NO COST This bonsai care app places no limit on how many trees you track. Add every bonsai, pre-bonsai and piece of raw material you keep, with species, style, development stage, pot, size (Mame, Shohin, Kifu, Chuhin, Dai), indoor or outdoor, the date it came into your care, where you bought it and what you paid. Pick from about 150 common bonsai species or type your own, so a banyan, a gmelina or any other plant you grow has a place too. Add your own tags, and two custom fields of your own, such as "On loan" or "Show". SAME-ANGLE PHOTO TIMELINE A same-angle photo timeline turns every photo into a record of your tree's progress. When you take a new photo, the camera shows last season's photo faintly over the live view. Line up the trunk and the pot, take the shot, and every picture in the timeline matches the one before. Change the overlay strength, use an edges view or pin a front photo. Then drag the before and after slider between any two photos to see how the ramification or nebari developed. You can also import older photos from any album on your phone. ONE DAILY CARE REMINDER One daily care reminder replaces a stream of alerts: one notification at the time you choose: what needs a soil check, feeding, pruning, a wire check or repotting. Swipe it away, or tap to open the list. Suggested intervals follow each tree's species and the season in your hemisphere, northern or southern, and the same tree always gets the same plan. Log "Wired" and the app reminds you to check the wire before it bites in. Repotting reminders arrive in the right season for that species. Every interval can be changed, and the timing is general guidance: every tree and climate differs. Missed work waits in Overdue instead of arriving all at once. CARE LOG FOR EVERY TREE The bonsai log for every tree keeps watering, fertilizing with the fertilizer you used, pruning, pinching, defoliation, wiring, wire removal, repotting with your soil mix, root pruning, pest treatment and styling, each in a few taps. Each tree shows its age in your care, its history and its next work; a calendar shows the month. FILTER YOUR COLLECTION Bonsaily is also a bonsai collection manager: a photo grid of your trees. Filter by genus, care group, stage, pot, size, style, place and tag, and combine them: every Shohin pine in development that is not in a training pot. Sort by name, age, last care or next due. Trees that died, were sold or given away move to the archive with their photos and history. YOUR PHOTOS STAY SAFE Photos are copied into the app, so clearing your gallery does not remove them. Back up everything to one ZIP file with every original photo and a CSV of your trees and care log, saved where you choose, and restore it on a new phone. MORE THAN BONSAI Because any species can be typed in, Bonsaily also works as a plant care journal or a house plant tracker for the other plants on your shelf, with the same photo timeline and reminders. BONSAILY PRO Everything above stays in the free version. Pro adds: - Timelapse videos: years of growth from a tree's photos in a few seconds. - Tree passport PDF: first and latest photo, species, age and care history on one page, for a sale, a show or a loan. - Unlimited custom fields. - Collection insights: care per month, trees left alone for 30 days or more, your collection by group and stage. - Home screen widgets and color themes. Pro also removes ads. Pro is monthly, yearly or a one-time Lifetime purchase; subscriptions renew until canceled in Google Play. PRIVACY Your trees, photos and notes stay on this phone. No account, no server.
