The forecast that follows your trail. Weather Squirrel shows current conditions, the hours ahead, and a 10-day forecast. Radar is a full-screen animated map: play or pause, scrub the past hour and a one-hour nowcast, pinch to zoom, and switch among precipitation, precipitation type, temperature, wind, and clouds. Trail and a place have a radar button beside the conditions icon that opens the map centered on that spot. U.S. severe alerts come from the National Weather Service. The app learns, on this phone only, the places you search and the places you stay. It ranks them by frequency, recency, and day of week, then offers a heads-up such as "You usually head to Tahoe on Saturdays: snow expected." No account. No login.
