Ouija Board: Talking Board

Ouija Board recreates the classic talking-board sitting exactly as it is done: the aged board on the table, the planchette under your fingertips, the invocation, the questions, and the goodbye that must never be skipped. THE BOARD YES and NO under the sun and the moon, two arcs of letters from A to Z, the numbers 1 to 0, and GOOD BYE at the bottom, printed on worn wood by a single candle. THE PLANCHETTE MOVES Rest your fingertips lightly on the planchette. It does not slide straight to its answer: it hesitates, drifts, creeps, trembles under your fingers, and settles on a letter, then the next. Look through the lens to read what it points at. Every answer is spelled one letter at a time. THE RULES • Call the spirit with the invocation, line by line. • Never lift your fingers until the planchette has reached GOOD BYE. • Do not ask what you cannot bear to hear. • Always say goodbye. Then put out the candle. Break a rule and the room changes: the flame gutters, the ambience thickens, the planchette moves faster, and the goodbye gets harder. Leave without saying goodbye and the next sitting remembers. ATMOSPHERE One candle that flickers with the spirit's mood. A binaural room tone generated live, with wind, creaks, breathing and whispers that only come when something has been stirred. Subtle haptics follow the planchette's tremor. Best with headphones, in the dark. Three free questions per sitting. When the candle burns low you may light a fresh one by watching a short ad, for three more questions. No ads during the sitting.
