Try a preset, a sweep, or a binaural beat. ▶ PRESETS Tinnitus masking tone, sleep, A4 440 Hz, subwoofer 60 Hz, bass strings E A D G, dog whistle, cat repel, a brainwave beat pack and solfeggio tones. Each one plays as soon as you tap it. ▶ WHO USES IT • Musicians tuning to an exact Hz • Speaker, headphone and subwoofer testers • Students learning about sound and waveforms • Anyone who wants a steady tone or noise while focusing or resting ▶ SAFETY Start quiet — loud tones, especially high frequencies, can harm hearing and speakers. Brainwave and solfeggio presets are traditionally used in relaxation and focus routines and are not a medical or therapeutic treatment. The tinnitus preset is a masking tone, not a treatment. Available in 30 languages.

The rating prompt no longer pops up at app start. The app asks at most once, about 5 seconds after you stop a tone yourself that played for at least 15 seconds, starting with the third such listen. If a tone is playing again, you touched the screen or left the app in between, or a full-screen ad was shown in the last 30 seconds, it waits for a later listen. The “Review” button in the menu works as before.
